Some people will tell you that all the good domain names are already taken. CNN.com, for eample, spoke yesterday of "the crunch in the crowded .com universe." This kind of psychology leads to grotesqueries such as the UK-based http://www.shoutloud.com which will happily sell you 051201000.com for a mere $20,000US, 1-800-Agriculture.com for $10,000, (watch out for the breathtakingly slow CGI by the way. I'm writing this parenthetical remark while waiting for the goddamn page to advance so I can find some more lame names. Now I'm gonna go get another cup of coffee....there we go.) and WorldWideWebOnTheWeb.com for $10,000. What these dorks aren't telling you is that with the least bit of ingenuity, there's still thousands of acres of noosphere to homestead. As a public service, here are a few free domain names.
