A financial coach is someone who helps people develop a positive relationship with their money by starting heathy habits such as spending wisely and saving so that they can be able to maximize their wealth.

To become a financial coach, one does not need a license but a coach who has a license is at a great advantage because they can double up as financial advisors. Financial coaches play other different roles which include: they focus more on personal money management, behavioral change and accountability.

Another role is that the help their clients with the basics of insurance, investing and any other specialization which may need financial advice. They are also involved in the follow up of their client by answering any questions and providing support where needed.

They also help the client become more aware of their money by knowing how much money is coming in and how much is being spent.
