Hosting virtual birthday parties has become commonplace during the Corona virus pandemic. There are steps you can take to make yours successful and almost as enjoyable as celebrating in person. Make sure you are organized; any snacks or items needed for party activities can be dropped off to everyone ahead of time, and party invitations should be sent with enough notice. Some games are easily played at a virtual party, such as charades, quizzes and bingo. A virtual scavenger hunt involves kids having to find commonplace items around their home, with the first one to show all items the winner. Themed parties always make things more interesting, and some suggestions include dressing up, a make up party or a dance party. And although it may not be quite the same, a virtual party means little setting up ahead of time, and no cleaning up afterwards.
