There are increasing uses for GPS tracking equipment. This is especially true now that the price has come down to the point where they are affordable enough to put one in each of your vehicles rather than move a single device around depending on which one you are driving.
Parents have learned to love these devices nearly as much as their teenage children have learned to loathe them. The old folks can now tell exactly where you’ve been, what route you took, and even if you were speeding along any part of the route.
Tracking apps on phones can do many of the same things but are superior for tracking the individual rather than the transport mode being used. They can even be lifesavers when it comes to locating younger children who wander off but aren’t about to abandon their beloved video game playing device.
