A real transformer robot has yet to lose its appeal for kids and inventors alike. It’s like finally meeting a genuine extra terrestrial. There is a prototype that appeared recently on social media.
However, it was more like a stick drawing. And hence, it wasn’t true to the original idea of a vehicle that transforms into a robot. But it’s not an impossible dream. It’s only a matter of time.
If filmmakers have rendered the idea in computer-generated imagery way too many times, developing a working model should be next. Who knows, a real version may come from a workshop where children learn to program for the first time. All the idea requires, as usual, is a real need for it.
As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention. The building blocks are already available in countless computer simulations. All it might take is a kid who’s really determined to get one for Christmas.
