More and more people are turning to a natural organic lubricant when having sex. This is not only because people are becoming more conscious about what they are putting on their bodies but also because non-natural lubricants can sometimes cause problems down there.
People that are prone to yeast infections, for example, should avoid lubricants that contain glycerine (which are commonly used in lubricant formulations) since they can increase the risk of infection. Those that contain parabens are also problematic since these have the potential to be hormone disruptors and can be problematic for women that are estrogen sensitive (although this has not been proven with research). Water-based and hypoallergenic lubricants that are not scented are probably the best options for people that want a natural solution. Some also come with probiotics included and others include ingredients such as aloe vera and other organic additives.
