Testosterone is a hormone produced in human body and mainly by men and its responsible for one’s appearance and development of the sexual organs. Some people may experience low testosterone symptoms and they include;

Low sex drive

Erection problems

Testosterone aids in erection by stimulating receptors in the brain to produce nitric oxide that triggers erection. When a man has low testosterone, they will have difficulties erecting before sex or experience unprompted erection.

Low amount of semen

Men with low testosterone experience low semen production. Other signs of low testosterone include hair loss, increased body fat, loss of muscle mass, low blood count and also the testicles may become smaller in size.

A blood test is conducted by a doctor to determine whether one has low testosterone and treatment is offered if needed.
