As more of what we do in our lives and work is based on technology, we will need increasingly more people who are equipped with the skills (like programming) to help build the digital tools needed for a world that is increasingly digital in its operations. Unsurprisingly, the earlier we begin to equip people, the better. As such, programming classes for kids are currently all the rage.
Children are resilient and have a much broader capacity to learn complex principles than we have previously given them credit for. This is particularly true when said principles are taught using methodologies that are friendly to children’s learning. The more children we have learning programming early, the better it is for them and us as we seek to build a tech-driven world where we are interacting with technology in a healthy and responsible way.
