The world is in a Liquid Waste Management crisis. There are no easy solutions, and the clock is ticking to develop a solution that will save our planet. Liquid Waste Management is an important process of managing liquid waste. They can be defined as substances that are in a free state and contain water. Liquid wastes include rainwater, wastewater, stormwater runoff, groundwater infiltration, and industrial discharges.
This article presents three Liquid Waste Management techniques that could help solve this global problem.
-1- Liquid waste management can be done at home by composting toilets, which allow for the reuse of human waste as fertilizer for crops or gardens, reducing dependence on water and sewers to dispose of wastewater.
-2- Reusing plastic bottles (which account for 30% of all plastic pollution) can also reduce Liquid Waste Management problems because it diverts these materials from landfills where they don’t decompose easily and instead use them as containers for household liquids.
-3- Liquid Waste Management could also be improved by reducing the use of bottled water, which wastes a huge amount of resources to produce something that can easily be filtered at home through boiling or using common filtration methods.
